Tottenham Hotspur have been handed an unlikely boost in their rumoured pursuit of Jarrod Bowen, who is facing a major dilemma over his future.
After securing Mohammed Kudus last summer, Spurs are plotting a move to poach Jarrod Bowen from the London Stadium ahead of next season.
The likes of Newcastle United have joined Tottenham in the race for the West Ham captain after the Hammers’ relegation from the Premier League.
It has been suggested that Spurs can land Bowen for just £35m this summer, and the 29-year-old is now under huge pressure as he faces a big decision.

Jarrod Bowen’s personal considerations revealed amid Tottenham interest
It has now been revealed that the England international could face pressure from his wife, Dani Dyer, and father-in-law, Danny Dyer, who is best known for his role as Mick Carter in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.
Danny is a big West Ham supporter, and it is suggested that he would be crushed if the winger does not stay behind at the London Stadium to help the club bounce straight back up.
A source with knowledge of the situation told The Sun: “West Ham’s relegation could have a huge impact on Dani, too. Jarrod missed out on a place in England’s World Cup squad this summer, and manager Thomas Tuchel even suggested West Ham’s poor form could have hampered Jarrod.
“He is desperate to win his place back in the England squad, with a European Championships on home soil scheduled for 2028. Jarrod has been heavily linked with a move elsewhere, and he is keen to keep testing himself at the very top.
“But this could be devastating for Dani, because they might have to relocate. Danny would also be gutted, because a West Ham with Jarrod has a much better chance of returning to the Premier League at the first time of asking than a West Ham without their star man.”
London preference may push Bowen to join Spurs
Additionally, it is pointed out that relocating from Essex may make it difficult for Dani to shoot more episodes of her and dad’s popular Sky TV show ‘The Dyers’ Caravan Park’, which is filmed in Kent.
As a result, it is suggested that a move to Spurs could be a compromise as it would allow the family to continue living in the capital.
Another source told The Sun about Bowen’s situation: “One compromise for Jarrod could be a move to Tottenham, who he has been linked to for years. That would be OK for Dani, because Jarrod would still be playing for a London team.
“But it would leave a sour taste in Danny’s mouth, considering Spurs were the team that remained in the Premier League at West Ham’s expense. Jarrod has a massive decision on his hands this summer, which will have a huge impact on him on and off the field.”
