As Tottenham Hotspur continue to eye a deal for Marcus Rashford, Man United have now made a significant decision on the England man’s future.
Regular readers of Spurs Web will be aware that Tottenham have been exploring a move for Rashford over recent weeks after Barcelona decided against activating their purchase option for the player.
It has been alleged that the Lilywhites are willing to break the bank for the forward, with some sources suggesting that Spurs are willing to offer the Man United man a £325,000-a-week contract.
However, Tottenham’s move for Rashford is not at an advanced stage at the moment, and Spurs have now discovered United’s plan for the player.

Tottenham target Marcus Rashford could rejoin Man United’s first-team group
The Athletic’s David Ornstein has now revealed that Rashford is ‘on course to rejoin the first-team group’ in United’s pre-season training when he returns after the World Cup.
As things stand, the expectation at Old Trafford is that the 28-year-old will be available for Michael Carrick to utilise from next month.
However, it is made clear that Rashford’s situation could change over the coming weeks, as nothing has been firmly decided either way.
There is an openness at United for a potential reintegration of their academy graduate if he does not find a new club before pre-season.
Man United will not loan out Rashford again next season
Ornstein claims in his update that Barca will not buy the forward permanently this summer after signing Anthony Gordon, while Man United have no intention of sending him out on a third successive loan.
The journalist adds that the England man, who is contracted until 2028 at Old Trafford, wants to avoid a move within the Premier League and is not currently targeted by the level of suitors that would entice him to leave his boyhood club.
This is the same information which was carried a couple of days ago by The i Paper, which claimed that Rashford does not want to join another English side this summer.
