Tottenham youngster Mikey Moore is attracting plenty of loan interest, and he could soon make a decision on his next destination.
It first emerged last week that multiple Bundesliga clubs have shown an interest in signing Moore on loan, on the back of his exceptional showing at Rangers last term.
Over the last 24 hours, a clear front-runner has emerged in the race to sign the Tottenham academy graduate on a temporary deal.
Fabrizio Romano revealed on Sunday that FC Koln have sent a loan offer to Spurs for the winger, and were making progress in their efforts to land the teenager.

Alasdair Gold has now also confirmed that negotiations between Tottenham and Koln regarding the 18-year-old are now at an advanced stage.
He added that the Bundesliga club, who finished 14th last season, have emerged as Moore’s preferred destination, but added that several English clubs are still monitoring his situation, with a late hijack of the deal still on the cards.
Gold wrote on X: “Plenty of clubs are interested in Mikey Moore from home and abroad, including newly-promoted Premier League sides and Championship clubs. Rangers were interested again, but Spurs are understood to be leaning towards a new experience for him on loan.
“Bundesliga outfit FC Koln are understood to be the young Spurs attacker’s preferred club if he goes abroad, and they’ve had a long-standing interest in him. Nothing agreed yet, but they want the 18-year-old.
“Advanced talks with Koln and awaiting both the 18-year-old and Tottenham to give the green light. It will be interesting to see if any of the English clubs make a strong late push in response.”
Move to the Bundesliga would be the ideal next step for Moore
Having won the SPL Young Player of the Year award in Scotland last term, one can understand why the teenager is keen to test himself at a higher level.
The winger may not be ready for a Premier League loan move yet, as it would not guarantee him regular starts.
A move to Koln may be ideal as it would represent a step up in quality while also affording the youngster a chance to play regularly. However, one would expect Tottenham to ask for guarantees from the Bundesliga club over the winger’s game time.
