Tottenham Hotspur’s Mikey Moore could be on the move again this summer, with a German side submitting an official bid.
Tottenham Hotspur have turned their focus to outgoings in the last few weeks after their initial flurry in the transfer market, where they secured the signing of six players.
However, six players have also departed from north London, with Will Lankshear, Radu Dragusin, Tynan Thompson, Alejo Veliz and Alfie Devine all leaving Spurs.
It has been revealed that Tottenham are looking to complete a few sales before turning their attention to further incomings.
Tottenham receive loan bid from FC Köln for Mikey Moore
Spurs now look like they are closing in on yet another departure in this summer transfer window. That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Bundesliga side FC Köln have sent an official bid for Spurs youngster Mikey Moore.
It is understood that the bid on offer is a loan move as opposed to a full transfer. Moore himself is said to be open to a move to Germany.
Negotiations are in the advanced stages as Köln look to finalise a deal in the coming days. The German outfit have been described as favourites, although several clubs remain keen on the Tottenham youngster.
Romano wrote on X: “FC Köln send official bid to sign Mickey Moore on loan from Tottenham! Negotiations at advanced stages with #THFC as deal could be completed next week with Moore open to the move. Several clubs keen but Köln now clear favorites.”
Moore attracting interest in England and Germany as Spurs push for loan abroad
Spurs Web reported last week that interest in Moore was plentiful, with not only Köln but also Hamburg showing strong intent to sign the youngster.
In England, there is also interest, with Championship side Middlesbrough keen on securing the services of Moore.
However, it was revealed that Tottenham are looking to send the 19-year-old abroad. Moore did impress on loan last term with Rangers, managing six goals and two assists in 28 league appearances.
