A report has revealed the new signings under-fire Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is clamouring for as we enter the final few days of the January transfer window.

Transfer activity expected at Spurs before deadline
There is not long left until the window slams shut and Tottenham fans have been left extremely angered by the fact that the club are yet to sign a single outfield player this window.
According to reports, even the staff at Hotspur Way have also been left frustrated by the lack of transfer activity as they hoped for early signings to help alleviate the club’s injury crisis.
However, a number of reports indicate that the club’s hierarchy remain determined to bring new faces through the door and that their transfer business is not done just yet.

Ange Postecoglou pushing Tottenham for two new signings
Football Insider have now claimed that Postecoglou is ‘pushing for two new arrivals’ before the February 3 transfer deadline.
The Australian is reportedly keen for Daniel Levy to loosen his purse strings and make additions that will help the squad navigate through their current crisis.
The Spurs boss has allegedly told the club’s hierarchy that signing a forward is the top priority before the window slams shut.
The club also want to bring a defender through the door within the next five days if the right deal is available, although Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven‘s return to fitness has provided a boost to Tottenham at the back.

Two more signings are the bare minimum for Spurs
If Tottenham fail to deliver at least two decent signings before the deadline, they will have failed Postecoglou and set him up to fail.
The Spurs boss must be deeply frustrated at the lack of help he has got this month, and he was absolutely right when he pointed out last week that the club are “playing with fire” by leaving things so late.
The next few days will real acid test for Levy and the Tottenham recruitment department, who know that the divide between the club and the fans will widen if they do not have a strong end to the window.
