‘One of the best’ – Real Madrid star claims Gareth Bale got on well with the squad

Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro has claimed that Gareth Bale is still one of the top five players in the world if he remains focused on his football.

Despite being part of one of Real Madrid’s most successful eras, the Welshman did not get the best of send-offs from the Spanish giants.

Bale has admitted since returning to Spurs that it feels as if he is back home and that he is hopeful he can play his best football now that he is happy again (BT Sport).

Reports over recent days indicate that the Welshman has impressed his Tottenham teammates and the coaching staff with the quality he has shown in training.

The 31-year-old certainly looked sharp in the training clips posted by the club on social media and some Spurs fans are understandably excited to see him don the Tottenham shirt again.

Casemiro insisted that Bale got on well with his Real Madrid teammates and that admitted that it was a pleasure to have shared the dressing room with him.

The midfielder told Defensa Central (as relayed by TBR Football): “He [Bale] got along very well with everyone.

“When he plays, if he’s focused, he’s one of the best in the world, top five without a doubt.

“It’s a pleasure for me to have shared the dressing room with someone like him. I hope it goes well at this stage at Tottenham.”
