Pascal Chimbonda has exclusively spoken to the Spurs Web about which area needs strengthening at Tottenham Hotspur, and he has identified a player the club should sign.
Most Tottenham Hotspur supporters were able to agree that the summer transfer window went well for their team, despite some hiccups during negotiations with players.
However, there are still notable weaknesses in the Tottenham first-team squad, which can mostly be found in the attacking areas.
Spurs have the best shot conversion rate in the Premier League, but concerns remain over their ability to create chances and score goals from open play.

Pascal Chimbonda identifies which player Spurs should sign
Pascal Chimbonda has exclusively told The Spurs Web that a new striker is needed at the club. Tottenham did complete the signings of Mathys Tel and Randal Kolo Muani last summer, but neither has been able to cement their position in the first team.
According to Chimbonda, there is a striker from the Bundesliga who would be a perfect fit under Thomas Frank at Spurs.
He said: “Yeah, Tottenham definitely need to sign a new striker in January. I would like someone who can finish in front of the goal but it depends on who is available in the transfer market in January.
“I really can see [Borussia] Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy coming to Tottenham. He would fit perfectly.”
Serhou Guirassy would be a proven goalscorer for Tottenham
Guirassy has scored five goals in nine Bundesliga appearances this season, which is quite a low tally in comparison with the league’s best striker, Harry Kane.
However, it is still more goals than any Tottenham player has scored in the Premier League this season.
Of course, the English top flight is a tougher division to score goals in, but Guirassy bagged 13 goals and five assists in 14 Champions League matches during the 2024/25 campaign. In fact, he netted 38 times in all competitions last season.
The 29-year-old has experience and a strong record in front of goal, and he could be the player needed to get Spurs firing more consistently.
