Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with various managers across the Premier League as the pressure continues to mount on Ange Postecoglou, but it turns out that one club are not particularly concerned about the possibility that Spurs may come calling for their head coach.

Who are Spurs eyeing to replace Ange Postecoglou?
At this point, it seems far from certain that Tottenham will sack Ange Postecoglou, but if reports are to be believed, the North London club have already formulated a shortlist of managers to replace the Australian if it does come to that.
Some outlets have claimed that there are three names on the Spurs list at the moment – Edin Terzic, Thomas Frank and Andoni Iraola.
Interestingly, The Daily Mail reported on Tuesday that Fulham’s Marco Silva is another candidate who is being considered by the Lilywhites hierarchy.

What Fulham feel about Tottenham’s interest in Marco Silva
TBR Football have now become the latest outlet to state that there are concerns at Hotspur Way about their current situation and replacements for Postecoglou are indeed being considered.
However, the outlet claims that Fulham are ‘confident’ that Tottenham will not be able to prise away Silva from Craven Cottage.
This is because he is protected by a £8m release clause, which Daniel Levy would have to pay to bring the Portuguese coach to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Cottagers are thought to be of the opinion that the fee will deter Spurs and other interested clubs from pursuing their head coach.

A paucity of good manager options
One of the things that might be working in Postecoglou’s favour is the fact that there is a paucity of top-class managers available right now.
The likes of Terzic, Iraola, Frank and Silva are all good managers but none of them are names that will excite Spurs fans.
If someone like Thomas Tuchel or Mauricio Pochettino was available, we might have seen Levy already pull the plug on the Postecoglou project.
