Chris Sutton is worried that Tottenham and Mikey Moore made a poor choice by deciding to join Rangers on loan, given the state of the Scottish Premiership side at the moment.
Moore joined Rangers on a season-long loan deal at the start of last month, with no obligation or option to buy.
The 18-year-old, who impressed for Tottenham last season, would have been hoping to play Champions League football at Ibrox.
However, Moore will now have to settle for Europa League football this season after the Scottish side crashed out in the qualifying round.

Chris Sutton worried Mikey Moore is not in the right environment to thrive
There is plenty of unrest at Rangers after a poor start to the season, with many supporters now calling for Russell Martin to be sacked, even though the Englishman was only appointed in the summer.
Sutton admitted that he was excited to watch Moore at Ibrox this season, but the pundit is worried that the teenager is now stuck in a toxic environment.
The former Celtic striker told BBC Radio Five Live’s Monday Night Club: “It’s a really difficult place to play. Rangers have recruited a fair few young players, and the environment to play in is toxic. Another player who’s gone to Rangers from down south, who I was really excited about, to see how he’d do, Mikey Moore, the young Tottenham Hotspur talent.
“I think from the cameos we’ve seen of him, you’re thinking ‘blimey’. I really feel sorry for the young players because they are carrying such a burden on their shoulders, and these are young players; it’s affecting their careers. It will be interesting to see whether they can come back from that.”
How has the Tottenham starlet done at Rangers so far?
Since his move up North, the Tottenham academy graduate has made five appearances, but he has started just one league game: the big derby against Celtic
Moore impressed in the Old Firm derby, and he will hope that he now gets a run in the starting eleven so that he can showcase his quality.
However, with big question marks over the future of Russel, who was the man who took the Spurs youngster to the Gers, there is uncertainty on what the immediate future holds for the attacking midfielder.
