Radu Dragusin has given an interesting statement about his time at Tottenham Hotspur after sealing a move to Fiorentina.
Dragusin has completed a £21.4m move to Fiorentina, two and a half years on from swapping Genoa for Tottenham.
The writing was on the wall for the Romanian at Spurs following the North London club’s acquisitions of Jan Paul van Hecke and Marcos Senesi earlier this summer.
The 24-year-old’s progress at Spurs was also interrupted by an ACL injury, which sidelined him for nearly a year, with the centre-back finding it difficult to force himself back into the team following his return.

Radu Dragusin thanks Tottenham and expresses Europa League pride
Dragusin sent a heartfelt message to everyone at Tottenham last week, admitting that he was proud to wear the badge and grateful for the memories he made at the club.
In his first press conference at the Viola, the defender was asked a loaded question regarding his time at Spurs, but he once again only had positive things to say about his former employers.
When asked ‘what went wrong’ for him in the Premier League, Dragusin responded (via TuttoMercatoWeb): “I want to thank Tottenham, which helped me grow as a man and a footballer. There, I saw a different world from the Italian one, and they helped me win the Europa League.”
Five more players could exit Spurs over the coming weeks
Dragusin, Luka Vuskovic, Alejo Veliz, and Yves Bissouma have already left Tottenham this summer, as part of the club’s summer rebuild.
With the Lilywhites plotting further reinforcements to their squad over the next few weeks, several more senior players are also expected to be sacrificed.
According to The Times, Lucas Bergvall, Cristian Romero, Djed Spence, Richarlison and Guglielmo Vicario could depart Tottenham before the start of the new season.
