Radu Dragusin has now sent a heartfelt farewell message to Tottenham fans after completing his loan move to Serie A side Fiorentina.
While much of the focus has been on incomings at Tottenham Hotspur as the club continues to reshape its squad and give Roberto De Zerbi what he needs, there have equally been several exits.
Europa League winner Yves Bissouma, alongside six Under-21 players, were among the first to be let go by Spurs amid the summer rebuild.
Since then, several other stars have departed, with four sold and Tottenham recouping £85.1m.
Playing a significant part in that figure is Radu Dragusin, who has secured a loan move to Fiorentina. That deal is expected to become permanent should the centre-back meet specific performance-based criteria, with Spurs set to receive £21.4m (€25m) in 2027.

Radu Dragusin bids farewell after Fiorentina move
Following his departure, Dragusin has taken to social media to send a heartfelt message to Tottenham fans. The centre-back joined Spurs in the winter of 2024 and made 48 appearances for the club across two years.
A disappointing ACL injury the following year hindered his progress and limited his impact, but many supporters will remember his resilience during the Europa League-winning season, where he stepped up in the absence of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.
In his farewell message, shared on Instagram, Dragusin reflected on his time at Tottenham, recalling both the highs and the challenges he faced. He wrote: “Some chapters become part of who you are.
“From the day I arrived at Tottenham, I was proud to wear this badge, and looking back, I’m grateful for all the memories I made at this club. Lifting the Europa League trophy is something I’ll always be proud of. Sharing that moment with my teammates, the staff and our supporters is a memory I’ll carry with me forever.
“But football isn’t only about the moments you celebrate. It’s also about the moments that test you the most. During the toughest period of my career, when injury kept me off the pitch, I never felt alone.
“The support I received from this club, my teammates and the incredible Spurs fans gave me strength every single day. Tottenham has helped me grow, not only as a footballer, but as a person.
“Thank you to everyone at the club for your trust and support. And thank you to every supporter for always being there. Your passion, loyalty and support have meant so much to me.
“As I take the next step in my career, I do so with nothing but gratitude and respect. Thank you, Spurs. 🤍”
Spurs could face more emotional farewells
Dragusin’s departure is unlikely to be the last Tottenham fans witness this summer transfer window. More emotional farewell messages could follow from players who were key to Spurs’ Europa League success.
Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is one who could be sold this summer as he continues to attract interest from clubs in Italy.
Club captain Cristian Romero could also be moved on, with interest persisting from teams in Spain.
Richarlison may yet join them, further reducing the number of players remaining from the Europa League-winning side.
