Rangers fans all say the same thing about Tottenham loanee Mikey Moore after England U19 hat-trick

Mikey Moore’s spell at Rangers has been far from ideal, yet the Tottenham teenager’s recent displays on international duty have left fans saying the same thing about him.

Mikey Moore has found life at Rangers difficult, with the teenager managing just one assist in ten games so far.

The Spurs loanee has struggled to make his mark in a Rangers side that has also endured a shaky start to their Scottish Premiership campaign.

Rangers currently sit eighth in the league and have since parted ways with Russell Martin, who failed to find any rhythm or consistency during his time at Ibrox.

Tottenham’s Mikey Moore shines for England U19 amid Rangers struggles

While things have been tough in Scotland, Mikey Moore appears to have rediscovered his confidence away from Ibrox.

The youngster has impressed with England’s under-19 side, producing standout performances that have reminded everyone of his potential.

Those displays have caught the eye of Rangers supporters, who have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the Spurs loanee’s resurgence.

Moore netted a brilliant hat-trick against Belgium before following that up with another goal in a friendly victory over Wales.

One fan wrote: “Will be good to see what the boy can do with an actual football manager in charge.” Another added: “So he can score and it was just Martin making him look bad?”

One more commented: “Play him in the right position and you will see how good he can be. Instead of all the thick fans using him as a scapegoat, maybe have a look at some of the senior players before chasing after an 18-year-old lad.”

Others echoed the same sentiment on Mikey Moore, with one saying: “See what happens when you are not coached by Martin?” while another added: “Another player Martin has failed yet again, are we surprised?”

Rangers search for stability as Moore looks to kick on

Following Russell Martin’s dismissal, Rangers are now in the process of identifying a new manager capable of restoring order at Ibrox.

Former Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard has been linked with a return to Glasgow, although it remains unclear whether he would be open to taking the role, having been out of work for some time.

The international break is now behind us, and Moore will be eager to take his fine form back into domestic football and help Rangers kick on from here.
