The Bayern Munich delegation which is scheduled to meet with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy in London today will still go ahead, despite reports their planned flight was cancelled or altered, according to the Evening Standard.
German news outlet BILD reported earlier this morning that the private jet which was booked to bring Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe to the English capital today had been halted late last night and instead may have amended the route from different airports.
Tottenham’s stance on Kane’s future in North London has been clear all summer, with Sky Sports reporting that Levy does not consider the England captain for sale, despite only having a year left on his current contract.
Bayern talks with Levy to go ahead despite travel amendments
The Bayern executives will sit down with Levy in the hope of being able to make a breakthrough in their talks with the tough Tottenham negotiator as part of their desire to bring Kane to the Bundesliga ahead of the new season.
Dreesen and Neppe remained back in Europe purposely to attempt to thrash out a deal with Levy while the rest of the Bayern squad and backroom staff headed to Japan to start their pre-season tour.
Kane, who celebrates his 30th birthday today returned to London with the rest of the Tottenham squad yesterday following their own pre-season preparations in Asia-Pacific.
