Report: Daniel Levy plans to make club’ bleed’ after going behind his back

Bild have claimed that Daniel Levy is far from pleased at how Bayern Munich have conducted themselves in the negotiations for Harry Kane, with the Spurs chairman now said to want to teach the Bundesliga giants a lesson.

The report states that Levy is unhappy that Bayern have been talking to Kane behind his back for a long time and have convinced the striker regarding a move to the Allianz Arena.

The Spurs chairman has allegedly told his circle of friends that he is ‘really angry’ with the German club’s conduct as they have crossed a line.

The Bavarians are yet to replace former forward Robert Lewandowski, who left the Allianz Arena for Barcelona last summer, and have identified Kane as their number-one target under Thomas Tuchel.

Will Bayern Munich sign Harry Kane?

The publication states that having turned down an offer of €70m (£60m) from Bayern for Kane, Levy is now expected to reject a bid of €100m (£85.3m) as he intends to make the Bundesliga giants ‘bleed’.

Bild explain that Thomas Tuchel‘s side would not have to pay over £85m to sign the England captain, who celebrates his 30th birthday on 28 July, has entered the final 12 months of his six-year Spurs deal

The outlet adds that the 61-year-old could also simply tell his star striker that he will not sell him to Bayern due to the German club’s misconduct.

Spurs have signed goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and playmaker James Maddison and are also said to be closing in on the signing of the winger Manor Solomon.

Kane is due to report for pre‑season at Hotspur Way early next week ahead of the club’s pre-season tour.

Spurs Web Opinion

We know that Levy can be extremely stubborn if he feels that Spurs are being taken advantage of. If it is true that Bayern have angered the Tottenham chairman by the way they have conducted themselves, they can kiss their chances of signing Kane goodbye.
