Report: Real Madrid keeping tabs on player Spurs signed this summer

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Tottenham wonderkid Bryan Gil.

Gil arrived at Tottenham over the summer, with the North London club paying £21.6m plus Erik Lamela for the 20-year-old.

The youngster has hit the ground running in North London, impressing in several cameos off the bench in the Premier League.

The Spaniard has been handed starts by Nuno Espirito Santo in the Europa Conference League and the Carabao Cup and has certainly made the opportunities count, demonstrating his guile and ability to take defenders on.

As a result of his performances, Gil was rewarded with a call up to the senior Spain squad and the winger earned rave reviews for his performance off the bench in the Nations League semi-final win over Italy last week.

If Defensa Central’s latest update is to be believed, Real Madrid are keeping an eye on the Tottenham man’s performances, with a view to potentially making a move for him in the future.

This is not something that any Spurs fans should be sweating over. Even if Real Madrid make an approach for Gil in the future, Levy will drive a hard bargain and will only agree to do a deal on his terms.
