Report reveals what Spurs have planned for Troy Parrott this season

According to a report from The Sunday World, Troy Parrott is set to be loaned out again by Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

There was excitement among some Spurs fans when Parrott joined Millwall on loan last summer but the teenager did not make the expected impact when opportunities came his way and found himself struggling to get into the team by December.

Spurs recalled him from his spell at The Den in January and loaned him out to Ipswich for the second half of the campaign.

While the 19-year-old fared much better for the League One side, often in a number ten role, he only managed to find the back of the net twice during his time at the Portman Road Stadium.

The Sunday World now reveal that Spurs are likely to loan Parrott out again this season, irrespective of what happens regarding Harry Kane’s future.

The striker reportedly wants to go on loan to a Championship club, with several already expressing their interest in the youngster.

It is explained that Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to make a final call on Parrott’s future over the coming days.

Parrott showed glimpses of his quality for Ipswich while often featuring as a number ten and also opened his international account with a well-taken brace for the Republic of Ireland in their win over Andorra last month.

Hopefully, the youngster can take some of that confidence into his loan and have a proper pre-season this time out, something he was not able to do at Millwall last summer due to injuries
