Sky Sports journalist, Lyall Thomas has revealed that Tottenham have some of the best agents and intermediaries in football working to find a potential transfer for Serge Aurier before the window closes.
Thomas revealed that Spurs want to sell Aurier so they can bring in Emerson Royal from Barcelona.
There are apparently plenty of clubs around the world currently looking for right-backs, but there are equally plenty of right-backs on the market.
Italian side Genoa reportedly showed interest in Aurier but the deal has not progressed, with under two days left until the transfer window slams shut for the summer.
Aurier was also reportedly turned down by Barcelona as a part of the Emerson Royal negotiations, while Lille were thought to be potential suitors until the Ivorian seemed to dismiss them on social media.
It remains to be seen whether Spurs will be able to sell the right-back and how that will impact any incoming deals.

Aurier needs to go, it’s as simple as that. I would be extremely shocked if he is still a Tottenham player come the end of the window, even if Spurs have to let him go on the cheap. It’s just a shame he couldn’t be used in any swap deals.
