Savio has said Richarlison wants to join Vasco, revealing on Instagram that he encouraged him to choose another Brazilian club instead.
Despite the summer transfer window slamming shut in England and across Europe, reports continue to link Richarlison with a move away from Spurs.
Spurs Web recently revealed that a move away from Tottenham is not too far away for Richarlison, who has given the “OK” to a move to Vasco in Brazil.
The window in Brazil remains open until 11 September, and it remains to be seen if a deal can be closed before the transfer deadline over there.

Savio hints at Richarlison’s desire to join Vasco over Clube Atlético Mineiro
Fellow Brazilian Savio now seems to have confirmed the latest interest in Richarlison from Vasco.
Taking to Instagram, the wide forward – who only just completed an £85 million switch from Manchester City to Spurs and is no stranger to transfer speculation – revealed that he has been trying to convince Richarlison to join Atlético Mineiro instead of Vasco.
Savio wrote under a galodesde1908 post that had Richarlison photoshopped in their kit:“He said he wants to go to Vasco, man; I told him to go to Galao instead, he would be happier there 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🫶🏾🫶🏾”
Richarlison’s Spurs future looks increasingly uncertain
Savio’s comments pretty much confirm that a move is firmly on the cards for the Brazilian forward.
During the England transfer window, Xavi Simons also played a not‑too‑dissimilar role during Savio’s transfer saga, often providing hints that he was in support of the move.
Given the track record of Tottenham players, it is not far‑fetched to believe that Richarlison’s time at Spurs is coming to an end.
