Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi has been handed a small boost, with 15 of his players remaining at Hotspur Way following a disastrous start to the 2026‑27 season.
Spurs Web revealed earlier today that 14 players have been called up to represent their countries ahead of the international break this September.
Of the 14 travelling, nine will be representing their senior teams, while four are set to meet up with the Under-21s and Under-19s.

14 Tottenham players staying at Hotspur Way during the international break
Spurs Web can now confirm that 14 Tottenham players have been left behind at Hotspur Way for the three-week international break.
Of those 14, five have been sidelined due to fitness problems, including Dejan Kulusevski, Xavi Simons, Mykhailo Mudryk, Wilson Odobert and Pedro Porro.
Porro initially received a call-up but had to withdraw after sustaining an injury in the outing against Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.
Mohammed Kudus was also called up, but Spurs Web has since revealed that Kudus pulled out of the Ghana squad, with the 26-year-old focusing on improving his fitness.
Other stars who have not had many minutes this season are also not travelling from Hotspur Way, including Dominic Solanke, James Maddison and Destiny Udogie.

For many of these stars, the next three weeks will serve as another pre-season, with several lacking match sharpness due to limited game time and fitness issues.
The period will be crucial for the likes of Solanke, Fernandes, Maddison, Kudus and Udogie. These players are key for Spurs, and if De Zerbi can get them up to speed during the break, there is every reason to believe results will improve in the coming weeks.
Tottenham’s slow start to the league campaign has left them bottom of the Premier League table after a winless first five games.
