Tottenham’s Mikey Moore continues to impress at Koln in a brand new tactical role after turning down some big offers in the summer.
Roberto De Zerbi has admitted that he rates Moore highly, with the 19-year-old having featured in the club’s first three matches of the campaign before completing a late loan move to the Bundesliga side.
Moore picked up an assist and had multiple shots on goal in his Koln debut, although he was unable to stop his side from falling to a 4-1 loss at Stuttgart.
Interestingly, the 19-year-old did not play on the wing, as he has at Spurs and Rangers, but was used as a number 10, and it appears that is going to be his role at the German club this season.

The youngster played as a 10 again in Koln’s 1-1 draw with Werder Bremen last Saturday, and SportBild magazine (via Sport Witness) has very positive things to say about his performance.
They claim that Moore was once again Koln’s standout performer, just as he was in his debut against Stuttgart.
They praise the Tottenham academy graduate for his ability to retain the ball in tight areas, dribble past opponents, and play with his head up.
The report suggests that Moore’s creative ability has already got many at Köln excited, and the club believe that they have a potential star in their hands.
It is explained that the 19-year-old specifically chose the Bundesliga this summer, as he saw it as an ideal next step to make his breakthrough following a successful spell at Rangers.
Moore turned down moves to two Premier League clubs
SportBild say that the young attacker also attracted Premier League interest in the summer, with Everton and Fulham ready to pay €30m (£25.7m) for his services.
However, Moore turned those clubs down and rejected big wages in favour of moving to Germany on loan.
This update comes just a couple of days after Koln Managing Director Thomas Kessler revealed that the Spurs academy graduate snubbed a move to Borussia Dortmund in favour of joining Koln on loan.
