Radu Dragusin’s outspoken agent, Florian Manea, has revealed whether he has had conversations with the centre-back over a potential summer exit from Tottenham Hotspur.

The summer window is fast approaching, but the decision-makers at Tottenham will be preoccupied with the club’s pursuit to remain in the Premier League.

Roberto De Zerbi’s men sit two points off safety with four games to go, and relegation to the Championship will drastically change Spurs’ plans for the upcoming transfer window.

The agent of a Spurs centre-back, who has found game time hard to come by this season, has now revealed what his client’s stance is ahead of the summer.

Radu Dragusin has not told his agent to sort out Tottenham exit

Tottenham are expected to undertake an ambitious rebuild of their squad in De Zerbi’s first transfer window at the club, and it remains to be seen if Dragusin is part of the Italian’s plans.

The Romanian international’s agent has now revealed that the 24-year-old remains fully focused on keeping Spurs in the Premier League, and that any conversations regarding a summer move will only be had at the end of the campaign.

When asked if his client wants to leave North London in the summer, Manea told Digi Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness): “Radu didn’t ask me for anything. I said we won’t talk until the end of the championship; he’s focused on saving Tottenham.

“I also talked to him last night, we have time, no one is rushing us for now. If someone calls me, you’ll realise I’m talking, but I haven’t been contacted, I’m telling you the truth.

“As I said, his priority now is saving Tottenham. I haven’t talked to Fiorentina, Juventus or even Tottenham. I’ll arrive in England next week, I’ll meet with Radu and we’ll see.”

Why Spurs may not cash in on Dragusin this summer

The former Genoa man could still have a part to play in Tottenham’s quest to remain in the Premier League, as he is just one injury away from being a starter.

Additionally, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven continue to be linked with moves away from Spurs this summer, with the Argentine and the Dutchman both of interest to elite clubs across the continent.

Spurs may thus not be too keen to listen to offers for Dragusin at the start of the window, and the 24-year-old’s future could also depend on whether the Lilywhites stay up.
