Senior Tottenham figure could follow Ange Postecoglou out the door this summer

A new report has said that Ange Postecoglou might not be the only big name to leave Tottenham this summer, with another senior figure also potentially on his way out of the club.

There is a huge question mark on the Spurs head coach’s future heading into the summer, with various outlets claiming that Ange Postecoglou has to win the Europa League to save his Tottenham job.

However, it is unclear if even that will be enough to save the 59-year-old as the likes of Fabrizio Romano have said that plans are already underway at Spurs for a managerial change in the summer.

A fresh update has now suggested that Postecoglou is not the only Tottenham man whose job is at risk.

Scott Munn could follow Ange Postecoglou out of the door

The Telegraph now claim that Postecoglou is not the only person at Tottenham whose job is under pressure at the moment.

Following the appointment of Vinai Venkatesham as Spurs’ new chief executive officer, it is said that there is now a major question mark over the future of the club’s chief football officer Scott Munn.

Munn has been serving in his role since the summer of 2023, having joined the club just ahead of Postecoglou’s appointment.

The report reveals that some sources at the club believe that the 51-year-old will go this summer if the Spurs head coach departs.

What will be Vinai Venkatesham’s responsibilities at Tottenham?

Over the last few days, a few outlets have claimed that Venkatesham will take full responsibility for all operational matters on and off the field when he gets started at Tottenham this summer.

He is thus expected to work very closely with chairman Daniel Levy over the coming years.

That potentially means that Munn’s responsibility and power might be reduced if he ends up staying, with the former Arsenal CEO lined up as the potential number two at the club behind Levy.
