With the 2026 FIFA World Cup now concluded, we’ve taken a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur star was rated.
Curtains have been drawn on the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which saw 48 teams compete for football’s most coveted prize.
Of those 48 nations, Tottenham Hotspur had 12 players representing their respective countries after departing north London earlier in the summer.
However, it was Pedro Porro who emerged triumphant as Spain secured only their second World Cup title by beating Argentina 1-0 in New York on Sunday night.
Pedro Porro tops Tottenham’s World Cup player ratings
Spurs Web has since revealed that Porro finished as the highest-rated defender at the entire tournament after helping the World Cup winners concede just one goal throughout the competition.
Not only was he the highest-rated defender, but he also ranked among the top five highest-rated players overall, with only Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland and Florian Wirtz receiving higher ratings.
FotMob has also revealed how every other Tottenham player performed across the World Cup this summer.
While Porro was the club’s highest-rated player, Pape Matar Sarr ranked second after earning a superb 7.99 rating during Senegal’s campaign.
Unfortunately, not every player was handed a rating. There was likely a minimum number of rounds/minutes required to be listed. But six Spurs stars made the top 350 list, and we have averaged our own ratings for the rest.

Marcos Senesi was also part of the World Cup, but he featured just once – coming off the bench in the final against Spain, playing 18 minutes and receiving a 6.1 rating.
Spurs now turn attention to the Premier League season
With the World Cup now behind them, attention immediately turns to preparations for the Premier League season, which is now only around a month away.
Spurs already have several players back in first-team training as pre-season preparations take precedence. However, many of those currently training are the players who were not involved at the World Cup.
The coming weeks should see more of Tottenham’s World Cup stars return to training as the club looks to improve on last season’s campaign.
