Opta’s Supercomputer has given its new prediction on Tottenham’s final points tally as the relegation race goes right down to the wire.
Spurs will look back on their two home games under Roberto De Zerbi as lost opportunities, as they had enough chances to beat both Brighton and Leeds.
Yet they have only two points to show for their performances, which means the fight for survival remains very much alive.
West Ham now have an opportunity to go above Tottenham before Roberto De Zerbi’s men next take to the field at Stamford Bridge, which is not a situation that Spurs will want to be in.

Opta’s Supercomputer predicts Tottenham and West Ham’s points tally
Spurs have a two-point advantage over West Ham, which is essentially three points as the Lilywhites have a much superior goal difference.
Opta’s Supercomputer has now predicted, after the latest round of results, that Tottenham will finish the season with an expected 40.47 points, which is a little over two points from their remaining two fixtures.
The good news is that the data analysis platform only expects West Ham to end with 38.57 points, which means they expect the two-point gap to remain until the end of the season.
However, such a scenario could well mean that the battle for survival goes into the final day of the season, with Spurs needing a result at home against Everton.

West Ham know that they could go above Tottenham with a win in the North East, with the Lilywhites facing a tricky clash away at Chelsea a couple of days later.
While Chelsea do have the FA Cup final three days earlier, their players will certainly be up for the London derby and may see relegating Spurs as a means to give something back to the fans amid a poor season.
