Supercomputer predicts Tottenham finish after four winless Premier League games

Tottenham Hotspur are not only yet to register a win from their four Premier League matches so far, but are also yet to score a goal.

If Spurs fans were worried about the lack of goals in the team after the first three games, that is now quickly morphing into a full-blown panic after the Lilywhites failed to find the back of the net yet again on Saturday.

While Tottenham did come racing out of the blocks against Everton and completely dominated in the first 30 minutes, they appeared to take their foot off the gas, with the Toffees being largely comfortable throughout the second half.

While De Zerbi remains confident things will click for his side once the Spurs players get up to their best physical level, there is no doubting that the Italian is now under huge pressure.

Tottenham drop further in Opta’s predicted Premier League table

Following their hard-fought 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground a week ago, Opta’s Supercomputer predicted that Tottenham will finish in 13th place.

However, Opta have now revised its predictions after seeing Spurs held to another goalless draw at home by David Moyes’ side.

The data analysis platform now says that De Zerbi’s men are on course to a 15th-place finish, with an expected 45.8 points over the course of the season.

The supercomputer has given the Lilywhites just a 4.8 per cent chance of qualifying for the Champions League and a concerning 21.67 per cent chance of being relegated from the Premier League this season.

‘Diabolical’ Spurs blasted by pundit for their struggles in front of goal

Jamie Redknapp has admitted that after their big summer spend, he did not foresee Tottenham struggling this much for goals.

The pundit said that it is diabolical for Spurs to go without scoring for six hours of football after spending over £300m in the summer.

Meanwhile, De Zerbi has admitted that his players may have a mental block in front of goal, suggesting that the fact they have not scored yet is playing on their minds.
