Another month is over, and it’s been another inconsistent spell for Spurs. But, we’re here to look at the positives, and celebrate the Spurs player of the month, the young player of the month, and the best goal in October.
In October, Tottenham registered two wins in the Europa League, got past Manchester City in the Carabao Cup, and battered London rivals West Ham in the Premier League.
However, Ange Postecoglou‘s men also registered two disappointing defeats in the league, including a catastrophic collapse against Brighton and a dismal showing against Crystal Palace.
So, which player has stood out the most? Which youngster has made an impression? And who registered our favourite goal in October 2024? The winners of The Spurs Web monthly awards are ready to be announced.

Spurs player of the month for October
Dejan Kulusevski wins our Spurs Player of the Month award for a second month in a row, after another incredible string of performances from the playmaker.
Dejan Kulusevski continues to flourish in his more central role, and is easily Tottenham’s most influential and important player right now. His link-up play with James Maddison, Dominic Solanke, and Brennan Johnson has been a joy to watch, but it’s the Swedish star’s work rate that is most impressive, with Kulusevski covering every blade of grass in the attacking third to press his opponents.
The highlight for Kulusevski in October was the Carabao Cup win over Manchester City, with the 24-year-old once again proving to be a thorn in Pep Guardiola’s side. He registered two assists in a man-of-the-match performance to see Spurs through to the next round, including an incredible cross to find Timo Werner for the opener.

Spurs goal of the month
Our pick for goal of the month in October goes to Pape Matar Sarr, who scored a wonderful curling effort in the Carabao Cup against Man City.
A short corner routine between Kulusevski and Werner saw the former lay the ball off beautifully for Pape Sarr, who hit it first time and rifled the ball past City goalkeeper, Stefan Ortega.
When you watch the replay from the angle behind Sarr or behind the goal, you can see just how much whip and bend the young midfielder put on the ball. His drive started well outside the post, before curling right into the bottom corner to double Tottenham’s lead in the cup tie.

Young Player of the Month award
Mikey Moore takes our young player of the month award for October, after not one but two incredible displays in the Europa League.
The teenage star was handed his first Spurs start for the game against Ferencvaros at the start of the month, putting in a hard-working performance as he completed the full 90 minutes, dealt with a highly-physical game, and showed exciting promise for what’s to come.
However, it is the win over AZ Alkmaar where Mikey Moore truly thrived, particularly in the first 20 minutes of the second half. The 17-year-old completely changed the game for Spurs, creating plenty of chances, demanding the ball from his teammates, and getting the crowd on their feet with tantalising progressive carries.
