Tottenham Hotspur are one of several Premier League clubs eyeing a January move for a talented teenage forward, but a deal is expected to be anything but straightforward in the winter.
Spurs have not yet found the back of the net in the Premier League this season, with many questioning if this Tottenham side has enough goals in it.
The club’s top scorer Richarlison has been left out of the Premier League squad, and there is a question mark over whether Omar Marmoush can fill that void and whether Dominic Solanke can stay fit through the full season.
It emerged last week that Spurs could turn to Al-Hilal striker Mohamed Kader Meite as a solution during the January window, but getting him out of the Saudi club is not expected to be easy.

A new report in Football 360 has backed up Spurs’ interest in Meite, who only left Rennes to move to Al-Hilal back in the January window.
However, it is suggested that the 18-year-old could return to Europe just a year on from his move to the Middle East, with Tottenham and several other clubs ready to offer him a route to the Premier League.
According to the report, Aston Villa, Arsenal and Manchester City are also closely monitoring Meite’s situation ahead of the January window.
The clubs with the most advanced interest are Arsenal and Manchester United, who have already reached out to the centre-forward’s representatives regarding a transfer.
Meite and Al-Hilal have different plans
Football 360 reveals that the teenager has already given the green light to return to Europe and intermediaries are working on potential market opportunities.
However, reaching an agreement with Al-Hilal is expected to prove difficult as the Saudi club have no intention of selling Meite mid-season, having only signed him at the start of the calendar year.
The report adds that the club’s head coach Simone Inzaghi has ‘completely shut the door on a winter departure’ for the former Rennes star.
