Tottenham Hotspur have set their sight on a Championship midfielder who managed 20 goal contributions in 47 appearances last season.

Tottenham Hotspur managed to avoid relegation to the Championship last season after securing a 1-0 victory over Everton on the final day of the campaign.

However, since then, the Lilywhites have been aggressive in their recruitment this summer, bringing in quality to bolster both their defence and midfield.

A mouth-watering £237 million has been spent so far, but Tottenham continue to be linked with other options amid their squad rebuild.
