Tottenham and Manchester City are now close to reaching an agreement for Savinho, with talks entering their final stages.

Tottenham Hotspur have remained persistent in their pursuit of Manchester City winger Savinho, with interest dating back to last summer.

Spurs came close to signing the 22-year-old winger for £70 million in 2025, but former City boss Pep Guardiola convinced Savinho to remain in Manchester.

However, the fee for the Brazilian is said to have increased, with reports claiming that Savinho is currently valued at £85 million by Man City.

Tottenham and Manchester City close to agreeing Savinho deal

Talks continue to advance between the Manchester-based club and Tottenham. In fact, Spurs are now looking to complete a double swoop of both Savinho and Omar Marmoush.

Such a deal is not expected to come cheap, with claims that Tottenham will have to pay £150 million to land the pair.

However, fresh reports from Nicolo Schira now state that Savinho’s move to Spurs is at the final stage.

It is understood that the winger’s contract is set to run until 2032, while all the parties involved are confident of the deal being completed soon.

He tweeted on X: “Savinho to Tottenham from Manchester City is at the final stage. Contract until 2032. All the parties involved in the deal are confident to close soon.”

City’s search for Savinho replacement strengthens Spurs’ hopes

Man City’s latest summer move does back up the journalist’s claims. Spurs Web has since reported that City have identified Allan Elias from Palmeiras as a potential replacement for Savinho.

It is understood that Enzo Maresca’s side is working on a deal for the 22-year-old winger, who has managed six goals already this season.

However, things are not advanced at the moment, with Palmerias adamant Allan is not for sale, while the wide forward has an £86million (€100million) release clause.

With City already identifying potential Savinho replacements, it does hint that a move to Tottenham may not be too far away for the Brazilian.
