Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann has suggested Randal Kolo Muani could be a surprise option for the Reds this summer, while also taking aim at Tottenham Hotspur’s recent track record with player development.
It has certainly been a frustrating loan spell for Randal Kolo Muani at Tottenham Hotspur this season.
The on-loan Paris Saint-Germain forward has often looked underwhelming in a Spurs shirt, particularly in the Premier League, where he has registered just one goal and one assist in 28 appearances.
In contrast, his Champions League form has been more encouraging, with four goals and two assists highlighting a more productive output on the European stage.

Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann makes Tottenham Randal Kolo Muani claim
Tottenham will now have to decide on the next steps regarding the forward, but former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has offered his verdict on the versatile attacker.
Speaking to BetKing, Hamann discussed Kolo Muani’s potential and the possibility of a move to Liverpool, while also referencing his previous spell in European football and his ability to perform at a higher level.
“Randal Kolo Muani to Liverpool would be a surprise, I think he had a spell at Juventus as well, which did not really work out. But I have seen him in the Bundesliga, he is a hugely talented player,” he said.
“I do not think we should take Spurs as a benchmark because in recent years, every player who went there got worse, their form deteriorated. So, we should not take this at face value.
“I think he is certainly a player who is capable of doing it. I think he showed glimpses at Spurs of what he is capable of, and I think he is a player who could do well at Anfield.”
