Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on securing a prolific Brazilian international, but they are expected to face intense competition for his services.
Tottenham’s forward line could look very different next season from what it does now if reports over recent weeks are to be believed.
While Roberto De Zerbi has admitted he is a big fan of Dominic Solanke, two other Spurs strikers could be on their way out this summer.
Richarlison reportedly has a verbal agreement with Spurs regarding a summer exit, while a number of outlets have also suggested that Randal Kolo Muani is not expected to be at N17 next season.

Tottenham could battle Chelsea for Igor Thiago
TEAMtalk have now claimed that Tottenham want to add more muscle upfront this summer and have set their sights on Brentford star Igor Thiago.
After a decent first season in the Premier League, the 24-year-old has hit even greater heights this term, with 21 goals in 33 league outings, just three behind Erling Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot.
Thiago’s impressive displays at the Gtech Community Stadium have also attracted ‘admiring’ glances from Chelsea, who are ‘desperate to bolster their forward line’ this summer.
The report points out that Newcastle and Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in the Bees star, who could potentially be the subject of a transfer battle this summer.
Brentford send big hint amid fears of Spurs poaching Thiago
Interestingly, TEAMtalk indicate that the West London club are aware of the growing interest in Thiago from the likes of Spurs and fear that the centre-forward could be lured away.
This is why Brentford have already started working on signing a replacement, and they have set their sights on Matviy Ponomarenko, having identified the Dynamo Kyiv starlet as their top choice to replace the Brazilian if he departs.
It was reported last year that Spurs were considering a €35m (£30m) offer for Thiago, but one would expect Keith Andrews’ men to demand a bigger fee, given the striker’s exploits since then.
