Tottenham Hotspur are one step away from beating their fierce rivals to one of the best young players across his age group in England.
Spurs have lost some of their top young academy starlets this summer, with Will Lankshear being the latest to head out the door, much to the disappointment of some Tottenham fans.
The centre-forward’s move to Middlesbrough comes on the back of Tynan Thompson sealing a switch to Man United and Alfie Devine to Preston North End.
Additionally, another young teenager, Luka Vuskovic (although he was not a Tottenham academy graduate), has also been let go, with Brighton paying £50m for the 19-year-old, even though he did not play a single game for the Lilywhites.

Tottenham are close to beating Arsenal for West Ham’s Isaac Allen
The Daily Mail reporter, Isaan Khan, has now revealed that the Lilywhites are close to securing the services of West Ham United starlet Isaac Allen.
He revealed that Tottenham are confident of beating Arsenal to the 15-year-old defensive midfielder, even though the Gunners have pursued him for weeks.
Khan wrote on X: “Tottenham are close to beating Arsenal to signing West Ham’s Isaac Allen. The England Under-15 midfield captain has been actively pursued by the Gunners for weeks – the club are keen on the player. But Spurs are confident.”
Spurs are working hard to bolster their academy
While there has been a lot said on social media about the academy players Tottenham have lost this summer, the club are clearly working hard to bring top young talents through the door as well.
The Lilywhites secured the services of the highly rated Cole Ramsey earlier this month, following his exit from Aston Villa.
Additionally, Tottenham are pushing ahead with a move for Wolves prospect Kwasi Senyah, while sources indicate that Spurs are also looking to secure 16-year-old Man City starlet Xavier Parker.
