Tottenham Hotspur have beaten several Premier League rivals to the signing of a highly-rated midfield starlet this summer.
Spurs have not only bolstered their first-team squad with big signings this summer, but are also working hard to add talent to their academy.
Earlier this month, the Lilywhites secured the services of the highly rated Cole Ramsey, following his exit from Aston Villa.
Tottenham are also looking to secure 16-year-old Man City starlet Xavier Parker, while it has also emerged over recent days that Spurs are close to winning the race for England U15 captain Isaac Allen.

Tottenham complete signing of Kwasi Senyah from Wolves
Earlier this month, Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe revealed that the North Londoners are pushing ahead with a move for Wolves prospect Kwasi Senyah.
The 16-year-old defensive midfielder, who is represented by CAA Base, is rated very highly by talent spotters across the country.
The Secret Scout has now revealed that Tottenham have completed the signing of Senyah, claiming that the Lilywhites beat out several top Premier League clubs for the midfielder’s signature.
Spurs have to replace the talent their academy system has lost
While the exits of the likes of Will Lankshear, Alfie Devine and Luka Vuskovic may have been down to those players wanting regular senior football, the Lilywhites have also lost some extremely talented teenagers from their academy.
Tynan Thompson has left Spurs for Manchester United, in a deal worth an initial £4m plus another £4m in add-ons.
Additionally, 18-year-old centre-back Elijah Upson rejected multiple contract offers from Spurs to sign for Arsenal. Given the talents Spurs have lost, it is unsurprising that they are trying to bolster the academy with highly-rated prospects.
