There could be a few more twists in the race for Dusan Vlahovic, who continues to be pursued by Tottenham Hotspur.

Over the last few months, Spurs Web has relayed many reports naming Tottenham as one of the leading contenders to land Vlahovic.

Juventus director Giorgio Chiellini revealed a week and a half ago that the Spurs target is set to leave Turin as a free agent as the Serie A club were unable to meet his salary demands.

Over recent days, some outlets have said that Chelsea had overtaken Tottenham in the race for Vlahovic, but the race for the Serbian could get even more crowded over the coming weeks.

Tottenham battling Chelsea and Newcastle United for Dusan Vlahovic

TEAMtalk say that the intermediaries have been sounding out potential destinations for the 26-year-old, with a move to the Premier League ‘firmly on the agenda’.

It is revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have been spoken to regarding the centre-forward’s availability but so have Chelsea and Newcastle United.

Vlahovic is thought to be demanding a salary of around £150,000 per week, which is not expected to be a stumbling block for any of the three English clubs.

In fact, the outlet asserts that ‘virtually every major Premier League club has been contacted over the past few months’ by intermediaries regarding the former Fiorentina man.

Juventus could make a last-ditch attempt to keep Vlahovic

The interest in the striker is not restricted to the Premier League, with Atletico Madrid also fans of the Juve star, while Besiktas are also pushing hard to secure his signature.

Interestingly, it is suggested that the Bianconeri are set to make one last-ditch attempt to tie down Vlahovic to a new contract after the previous talks collapsed.

Juve have appointed former Sassuolo chief Giovanni Carnevali as their new general manager, and the newcomer has expressed a willingness to revisit talks with the striker and his entourage.
