Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to keep an eye on Liam Delap, but a move for the Chelsea striker is expected to prove complicated.
Spurs are expected to add a number to their squad this summer, particularly if Richarlison follows Randal Kolo Muani out the door.
Last week, journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that Tottenham are ‘ones to watch’ in the race for Liam Delap, as they assess various striker options in the market.
The 23-year-old failed to live up to expectations since his £30m move to Stamford Bridge last summer, scoring just twice in two goals in 41 appearances last season.

Two Premier League clubs could challenge Tottenham for Liam Delap
TEAMtalk says that Delap’s future is yet to be decided and confirms that Spurs are one of the clubs eyeing the English centre-forward.
It is revealed that Tottenham have held ‘ exploratory enquiries’ for the Chelsea man, but are yet to make a concrete move for the player.
However, the Lilywhites may have intense competition to contend with from both Newcastle United and Everton for the striker’s signature.
Newcastle have long admired Delap and view him as someone who can bring attacking depth to their squad, while Everton have identified the youngster as a possible replacement for Thierno Barry, who could be on his way to RB Leipzig.
Delap’s stance and Chelsea’s asking price revealed
TEAMtalk say that the striker remains determined to fight for his place at Chelsea under Xabi Alonso, but he may not get his wish.
The outlet states that the Chelsea chiefs have signalled an openness to selling Delap and have set a price of at least £40m for him.
However, the website claims to have heard from sources that clubs could land the former Ipswich Town man for closer to £30m in the latter stages of the transfer window.
Djed Spence may not be too happy to see Delap again if he does join Spurs, with the Chelsea striker breaking the defender’s jaw the last time they met.
