Tottenham Hotspur have already bought three players through the door this summer transfer window, but their work is still far from done.
Jan Paul van Hecke has become Tottenham’s third addition of the Roberto De Zerbi era, following Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson through the door at Hotspur Way.
Far from resting on their laurels, the North Londoners are expected to continue their spending spree, as they undertake a major rebuild of their squad following two successive 17th place finishes.
The Tottenham hierarchy appear to be delivering on their promise to the fans this summer, and there is expected to be a lot more to come from the Lilywhites before the new campaign gets underway.

Tottenham backed to make four more signings
Earlier this week, journalist Ben Jacobs suggested that Tottenham want to make seven signings in total this summer.
This has now been backed up by Spurs insider Paul O’Keefe, who revealed that the Lilywhites want to make four more signings after having bought Van Hecke, Senesi and Robertson through the door.
O’Keefe revealed that in ‘an ideal world’, Tottenham would like to add two more wingers, a central midfielder and a striker to their squad.
Spurs are prioritising Premier League experience this summer
All three of the defenders Tottenham have signed so far arrive with a vast amount of English football experience and would be expected to hit the ground running at N17/
According to reports, Spurs are eyeing deals for Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, while sources also continue to suggest that Tottenham are locked in talks with Man City over Savinho.
It thus appears to be a deliberate strategy to go for Premier League-proven players even if they cost a premium.
