Tottenham Hotspur have turned their attention to a Premier League goalkeeper, but they could face competition from their fierce rivals for the player.
Guglielmo Vicario is expected to return to Serie A, following three seasons as Tottenham’s number one.
Antonin Kinsky moved ahead of Vicario in Roberto De Zerbi’s pecking order towards the end of last season, but it remains to be seen if the Czech shot-stopper remains the club’s first-choice next term.
Reports indicate that Spurs have begun scouring the market for a new goalkeeper and they have now turned their attention to a former Man United man.

Tottenham battling Chelsea for Dean Henderson
According to a report in The Sun, Spurs have expressed an interest in Crystal Palace star Dean Henderson.
The England international, who came through the ranks at Man United, has been the Eagles’ undisputed number one since 2023, but he is the subject of a transfer battle this summer.
The Sun provide more information in their live transfer blog, where they explain that Chelsea have also made enquiries regarding Henderson’s availability.
If Roberto Sanchez were to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, the Blues are expected to send an offer for the 29-year-old.
This is also not the first time Dean Henderson has been linked with Spurs.
Which other goalkeepers are on Spurs’ radar?
It has been suggested that De Zerbi could look to reunite with Brighton’s Bart Verbruggen at Tottenham, with the Italian being the one who took the Dutchman to the South Coast back in 2023.
James Trafford and Robin Roefs are also thought to be on Spurs’ shortlist to replace Vicario this summer.
Over recent weeks, some reports have also suggested that Tottenham have made contact with PSG to ask about Lucas Chevalier, whose future in Paris is in doubt.
