Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario is one of two options on the wishlist of another Serie A club after his proposed move to Inter Milan all but fell through.
It has been widely suggested over the last few months that the Tottenham goalkeeper is bound for Inter Milan, who are looking for a new number one to take over from Yann Sommer.
However, over recent weeks, some outlets have claimed that there remains a distance between Inter and Spurs’ valuations of the 29-year-old.
Just last week, TuttoSport claimed that Inter had called off their pursuit of Vicario, and decided to use their funds to strengthen other areas of the pitch this summer, as manager Cristian Chivu is happy to make Josep Martinez his full-time number one.

Juventus now eyeing a deal for Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario
A couple of months ago, it was reported that Vicario was also on Juventus’ radar, but the speculation linking the experienced goalkeeper with a move to Turin has gone quiet since then.
Gianluca Di Marzio has now claimed that the Old Lady have reignited their interest in the Tottenham star as they start their search for a new number one.
It is revealed that Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez and the Spurs man are the two names at the top of the Bianconeri’s wishlist.
Di Marzio adds that Vicario is continuing to evaluate his options ahead of next season after falling behind Antonin Kinsky in the pecking order at Tottenham in the final few matches of last campaign.
Is Antonin Kinsky ready to be Spurs’ number one?
Many Tottenham fans have fallen in love with Kinsky and feel that he should have been made the number one a long time ago.
The 23-year-old was nearly flawless during Tottenham’s final run-in, showcasing his brilliant shot-stopping ability by pulling off some crucial saves, without which the club may have been relegated.
The Czech goalkeeper’s composure on the ball and his passing ability also make him a great fit for De Zerbi’s system, and the Spurs boss may be tempted to continue with the young goalkeeper as his number one next season.
