Tottenham Hotspur fans may be worried by the latest developments regarding Mohammed Kudus, who is out with an injury.

Kudus first picked up a hamstring injury in January, which was only expected to keep him out of action for a few months.

However, the Tottenham winger reinjured himself when he was on the cusp of a return in April, which ended his season.

The 25-year-old was at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to support his teammates against Everton, and while he may have been delighted to see them get over the line, he has now been hit with some bad news.

Tottenham star Mohammed Kudus left out of Ghana’s World Cup squad

Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has confirmed his 26-man squad for the World Cup, and the Spurs man does not find a place in the list.

While the West African country has not provided an official update from Kudus, it is clear that they do not expect him to be fit in time for the tournament.

The Black Stars kick off their World Cup campaign with a clash against Panama on June 17 before taking on Djed Spence’s England on 23 June, and it appears that Kudus will not be on the plane.

Kudus is confident of thriving under Roberto De Zerbi at Spurs

According to reports, De Zerbi tried to sign Kudus from Ajax when he was in charge of Brighton.

The Tottenham boss has admitted that the former West Ham man is a good fit for his system, and he will be hoping that the 25-year-old is fully fit and ready to go for pre-season.

A few days ago, Kudus himself hinted on social media that he is confident of thriving under De Zerbi, which will excite Spurs fans ahead of next season.
