Tottenham fans have offered the same solution to the Lilywhites’ struggles in front of goal after the club set an unwanted record already this season.

Tottenham Hotspur have gone four games without scoring a goal in the Premier League for the first time in their history.

Spurs’ latest outing against Everton sealed that unwanted record, as the Lilywhites were held to a 0-0 draw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

This now leaves Tottenham as one of two sides yet to find the back of the net, with newly promoted Coventry managing a similar struggle.

Tottenham fans give ten suggestions to help Spurs improve goalscoring struggles

Following the game against Everton, Tottenham fans took to social media to share solutions to the goalscoring problem at Spurs.

Some supporters believe it is down to the personnel on display, while others simply want to see the players take more risks in the final third.

Here are the comments from Spurs fans:

Spurs’ goal drought must end soon as pressure begins to mount on Roberto De Zerbi

Of course, six hours of football without a goal is rather disappointing for Tottenham, especially after the summer they had.

Spurs spent close to £400 million on ten new signings, with £145 million of that going into revamping the attack.

Roberto De Zerbi did state last week that these forward players need more time to gel, but those comments were quickly slammed by Troy Deeney, who labelled them an excuse.

Jamie Redknapp has not held back in his criticism either, describing Tottenham’s goalless run as “absolutely diabolical”.
