Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left excited by Sandro Tonali’s arrival to training after the Italian missed the first few days of pre‑season.

Sandro Tonali was among a handful of Tottenham Hotspur players to miss the first day of pre-season training last week.

Spurs Web revealed that Tonali’s absence was due to his work permit, which was being processed following his big-money move from Newcastle United to Tottenham.

However, that issue now appears to have been resolved, with the Italian midfielder reporting to first-team training as Spurs continue their preparations for their pre-season tour.

Tottenham fans react as Sandro Tonali returns to training

Tottenham will first face MK Dons before travelling to New Zealand and Australia for their pre-season tour.

With the Italian now back in training, there is every chance he will be heavily involved in those fixtures as he looks to get up to speed with Roberto De Zerbi‘s demands.

Spurs supporters cannot wait to see their new signing in action and, following his arrival at Hotspur Way, many have taken to social media to share their excitement.

One fan said: “Looking sharp, Sandro 🔥 COYS, keep it going, lad!” Another added: “Sandro 😮‍💨.”

One more commented: “My player.” Another supporter called for further additions, writing: “Love it, now sign a winger and a striker of the same level. Our attack has no goals. A quality midfield is useless if the guys up front can’t bag the goals.”

Meanwhile, another fan welcomed the midfielder by commenting: “Welcome Sandro, it just looks so good.” While a supporter was still in disbelief, writing: “Can’t believe this is real life!”

A final fan kept it simple: “We are going to cook!”

Spurs supporters will soon get their first look at Sandro Tonali

Spurs return to pre-season action on July 22, although supporters will not be able to watch the match live as it is a behind-closed-doors fixture against MK Dons at Hotspur Way.

However, following that match, fans should get their first glimpse of the club’s new signings when Tottenham begin their pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia.

Their first fixture away from north London this summer comes against Auckland FC on July 26 in Auckland, New Zealand, where the likes of Mateus Fernandes and Tonali will be in action.
