Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on prolific centre-forward Vangelis Pavlidis ahead of the new season, and a new update has revealed how much he is expected to cost.
Randal Kolo Muani’s forgettable loan spell at Spurs is over, while Richarlison is also being backed to exit Tottenham this summer.
It thus comes as no surprise that the Lilywhites have started looking at various number nines on the market, and one experienced striker has caught their attention.
It was reported two weeks ago that Tottenham are exploring a move for Vangelis Pavlidis, who has been extremely prolific since his move to Portuguese football two years ago.

Tottenham find out how much they need to pay for Vangelis Pavlidis
A new update in A Bola (as relayed by Sport Witness) has now confirmed that Pavlidis is indeed on the radar of Roberto De Zerbi’s side.
The Greek international finished last season with 30 goals and five assists in all competitions, taking his tally to 60 goals in 110 appearances in total for Benfica.
The report claims that the Portuguese giants are ready to sell Pavlidis, who is protected by a €100m (£85m) release clause.
Benfica want ‘at least €40m’ (£34m) for the 27-year-old, which would represent a significant profit, with the club having paid €18m (£15.3m) to land him from AZ Alkmaar in 2024.
Premier League rival and two Serie A sides also want Pavlidis
A Bola claim that Tottenham are not the only Premier League club eyeing the Benfica man, with Aston Villa also fans of the striker.
Additionally, Pavlidis is also attracting interest from Serie A, with AC Milan and Roma also exploring moves for the centre-forward.
Finally, it is revealed that Besiktas are now preparing an offer of €20m (£17m) plus bonuses for the former AZ man, but that is expected to fall well short of Benfica’s asking price.
