Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on a young French winger, who registered eight goal contributions in the Bundesliga last season.
It appears that Tottenham are prioritising strengthening on the flanks this summer, which is not a surprise given the paucity of wingers at Roberto De Zerbi’s disposal.
Over the last couple of days, we have seen Spurs resume talks over a deal to sign Savinho from Man City after failing with approaches for the Brazilian in the last two transfer windows.
It has now been revealed that the Lilywhites are also turning their attention to a pacy 21-year-old, whose reputation has blossomed in Germany over the last 12 months.

Tottenham want to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jean-Matteo Bahoya
TEAMtalk claim that Tottenham have registered an interest in Jean-Matteo Bahoya, whose stock has grown rapidly since his switch from Angers to Eintracht Frankfurt two years ago.
The report claims that Spurs have been impressed with Bahoya’s pace, dribbling and his ability to unlock defences.
The North Londoners believe that the 21-year-old embodies the dynamic, attacking profile that De Zerbi is keen to build around at N17.
With Tottenham keen on refreshing their forward line with energy and technical quality, they believe that signing the Frankfurt starlet would represent ‘a significant statement of intent’.
However, it is made clear that the Lilywhites are expected to face plenty of competition for the France U21 international, who has won many admirers across Europe with his direct style.
Spurs will have to spend big to land Bahoya
TEAMtalk say that Frankfurt are in a strong negotiating position, since the winger is contracted to the club until 2029.
The Bundesliga club have no desire to allow Bahoya to exit Deutsche Bank Park on the cheap this summer after investing in his development.
It is alleged that the German side will demand a fee of around €70m (£60.5m) for the pacy wide-man this summer.
