Tottenham Hotspur could once again turn their attention towards Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush this summer, although growing interest from elsewhere in Europe may complicate any potential move.
During the winter window, Tottenham Hotspur were in the market for a forward and explored the signing of Manchester City star Omar Marmoush.
It is not entirely surprising, given the injuries Tottenham had in attacking areas at the time. Right now, Spurs remain short in attack, with Xavi Simons, Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke all out.
No doubt landing a player of Marmoush’s quality would have given Spurs more options and greater firepower.

Tottenham could revisit Omar Marmoush transfer as Manchester City assess future
We are now approaching the summer window, and Tottenham could once again revisit their interest in Marmoush.
The Egyptian has struggled for game time at the Etihad, featuring just eight times from the start in the Premier League.
CaughtOffside have now shared the latest on the Egypt international. According to the publication, Manchester City are understood to be considering Marmoush’s future.
The versatile forward is not currently pushing for a move, but City are said to be reassessing his role in the squad and market value ahead of a potential sale this summer.
Spurs face Barcelona competition for Omar Marmoush
Barcelona are among the clubs linked with a move for the City forward as they look for a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
It is claimed that Julian Alvarez is one of the players on their radar, but his high price tag could force Hansi Flick’s side to pursue the Manchester City star instead.
That would represent major competition for Tottenham should they reignite their interest. While City are not actively pushing for a sale, it is reported they are open to offers in the region of £51m-£55m (€60m-€65m).
Interest from the Bundesliga also remains a possibility, given Marmoush’s success at Eintracht Frankfurt; clubs in Germany will likely consider a move should he become available.
