Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to cash in on a number of their senior players as they aim to raise funds for their summer rebuild.
After having secured Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson, Tottenham are now working on more ambitious transfer deals.
The Lilywhites are reportedly working on landing both Sandro Tonali and Matues Fernandes in two big-money deals as they look to seriously upgrade their midfield.
Tottenham are also continuing to work on a deal for Man City’s Savinho, who is expected to cost around £60m.
Michael Bridge names six players Tottenham could cash in on
This kind of transfer outlay from North London club would need to be funded by some departures, and Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has now revealed that Spurs have put several players on the shop window.
He suggested that Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero, Pape Matar Sarr, Radu Dragusin, Luka Vuskovic and Manor Solomon could all be sold by Tottenham this summer.
Bridge said on the Last Word on Spurs podcast: “If Spurs need to raise funds, looking at those available, it would be with Vicario, Romero, if the fee was right, Sarr, if the fee was right, Dragusin, Solomon, Vuskovic maybe. Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear will go back on loan.
Could Spurs also lose Lucas Bergvall?
While Tottenham fans expected the likes of Vicario, Romero and Dragusin to leave, they have come to understand that the Lilywhites could also sell one of the club’s most talented young players.
Spurs are reportedly ready to sell Lucas Bergvall for £45m after the Swede put in a transfer request.
Many Tottenham supporters believe it will be a huge mistake to sell Bergvall, especially for the reported price, given the promise he has shown in his two seasons at the club.
