Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs to have expressed an interest in Harry Kane, who is on the radar of many clubs in Europe and beyond.

Spurs fans have continued to follow the story of the club’s highest-ever goalscorer closely since his move to Bavaria three years ago.

Kane has scored an astonishing 146 goals in just 147 appearances for Bayern Munich, and he has carried his impressive club form into the World Cup.

The Tottenham legend has become the joint fifth-highest goalscorer in World Cup history, with 14 goals in the tournament so far, and he is hoping to bring the trophy back to England this summer.

Tottenham remain ‘well informed’ on developments over Harry Kane’s future

TEAMtalk have now revealed that the England captain is attracting interest from many of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Tottenham among the teams tracking his situation.

Intermediaries have been actively sounding out Kane, making the player and his representatives aware of interest, although those individuals are not directly acting on the striker’s behalf.

Spurs are ‘maintaining close contact’ regarding a move for the centre-forward, with the club possessing a right-to-match clause on their former player.

The Lilywhites ‘remain well informed’ on developments surrounding Kane, and while no move is currently being discussed, sources believe that the North London club could be in a position to offer him a route back home next summer if circumstances are aligned.

Barcelona have also made enquiries over the Bayern star’s contract situation, while Real Madrid have requested to be kept informed of his potential availability.

What Bayern Munich are thinking about Kane’s future

TEAMtalk say that Bayern are in discussions with the 33-year-old’s representatives over a new contract, and there is little concern at the Bundesliga giants about the outcome.

Vincent Kompany’s men are confident that they will tie down Kane to a new long-term deal, despite the growing interest in his services.

In fact, the publication adds that sources close to the German club insist that it is viewed as a matter of ‘when, not if’ Kane signs a new deal.

The striker is also attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, but has no interest in moving there, and while MLS clubs are also circling, a move to the United States is considered ‘a long-term possibility’ rather than an immediate option for the player.
