The Dutchman’s new deal is set to keep him at Tottenham until 2031, while Spurs have the option to extend for another year.
Respected Tottenham insider szyexcl, who was among those to have reported van de Ven’s contract extension before it was officially confirmed, is now teasing that another big announcement is imminent.
Taking to X, he tweeted: “another announcement is coming soon. 😁”

It remains unclear what this announcement might be about. With the transfer window still open, there is a possibility that the next update could involve either a new signing or a major sale.
There is also a chance that another contract extension could be announced in the coming weeks.
