Tottenham Hotspur are plotting moves for two exciting English stars and are putting a plan in place in case they are not able to get either player during the current transfer window.

Time ticking away as Spurs continue to play waiting game
If any Spurs fan were not already at the end of their patience with Daniel Levy and the club’s board, they would certainly be now after watching the club drag their feet during the current transfer window.
It was clear that Tottenham needed to bring several bodies in early to help Ange Postecoglou navigate the injury crisis, but the Spurs boss has not got the help he needs.
Antonin Kinsky is the one player that has come through the door so far and with just a few days left until the window slams shut, the Lilywhites have their work cut out massively.

Tottenham’s plan for a double raid
A fresh report from The Telegraph has revealed that Spurs are plotting moves for a midfielder who has impressed at the highest level and a young winger who is taking the Premier League by storm.
Lille’s Angel Gomes and Southampton’s Tyler Dibling are named as the two players that Tottenham have identified as they attempt to set up deals.
While Spurs fans would have heard those two names already, this report provides a fresh update on the pursuit, suggesting that the Lilywhites might be doing the groundwork to sign both players in the summer.
Gomes is down to the final six months of his contract and is free to speak to clubs outside France regarding a pre-contract agreement.
Interestingly, it is revealed that Postecoglou’s men ideally want to sign Dibling before the February 3 deadline, but if they are unable to do so, they will try to get an agreement in place for a summer switch.
The publication explains that Tottenham want to be in a ‘strong position’ to secure either player in the summer by ‘advancing negotiations’ well before the end of the season.

The next few days will be an acid test for the Spurs hierarchy
Tottenham’s plans for the summer will hardly be of importance for their fans now, who will be more concerned about what the club can do in the final few days of the current transfer window.
If the club does not back Postecoglou with at least two more signings, they are setting the Australian up to fail.
However, others might argue that it would not be prudent to back the 59-year-old with the players he wants if he is not guaranteed to be in the job for much longer.
