Tottenham Hotspur are looking to poach one of the most highly-rated young English talents from Man United’s academy.
Highly-rated winger Tynan Thompson left the Tottenham academy to sign for Man United in the summer, which came as a bitter blow to the Lilywhites.
Spurs got £8m, including add-ons, for the 18-year-old, even though he had not made a single senior appearance, which shows how highly he was thought of by talent spotters across the game.
It appears that the Lilywhites are now offering the Red Devils some payback by snapping up one of the best young talents in the United academy.

Tottenham have made an offer to Man United wonderkid JJ Gabriel
TEAMtalk have now revealed that JJ Gabriel, who is considered one of the best young forwards in the United academy, is on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur.
The 15-year-old, who has already impressed for Man United at U18 level and has represented England at U17 level, has informed his club that he wants to leave.
Gabriel has formally submitted a letter of de-registration to the Red Devils, asking to be released, and this has put many clubs on red alert.
That includes Tottenham, who have already made an offer to the teenager, while Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have also done the same. However, it is the Lilywhites’ London rivals at the front of the queue for the winger.
Chelsea leading Spurs in race for Gabriel
TEAMtalk say that Chelsea have now emerged as the ‘clear front-runners’ to land the United academy starlet.
The Blues have been trying to secure Gabriel for a long time, and they are now doing everything in their power to persuade the teenager that his future lies at Stamford Bridge.
The winger is also attracting interest from outside England, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund having followed him since he was 13 years of age.
