With Tottenham’s pre-season preparations now complete, we’ve taken a look at the players who logged the most minutes throughout the summer camp.
There is no denying that Tottenham Hotspur put the hard yards in this summer during their pre-season camp.
Spurs played eight friendly matches, including a pre-season tour of Australia where they faced Auckland FC, Sydney and Chelsea, while back in north London they took on the likes of MK Dons, Getafe, Hoffenheim and their u21’s.
In all encounters, Spurs did not taste defeat, winning six times and drawing twice – against Getafe and Hoffenheim – having already beaten the German outfit 3-0 in Saturday’s clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham minutes revealed as Archie Gray tops pre-season charts
With pre-season preparations now over and focus set to turn to the Premier League, we have now highlighted the minutes played by each Tottenham player.
At the top of the charts is Archie Gray, who played a whopping 423 minutes of football this pre-season. The youngster was a main part of De Zerbi’s line-ups this summer, featuring either in midfield or at full-back.
In second, we have Ben Davies. The experienced centre-back got 359 minutes of game time, while in third is Mathys Tel, who was arguably Spurs’ best player in pre-season.
It is worth noting that this list does not include minutes played in the behind-closed-doors match between Spurs’ second team and the U21s.

Spurs’ pre-season minutes hint at De Zerbi’s Brentford XI
Based on the minutes played in pre-season, fans can make out the players who are likely to feature in Tottenham’s first Premier League game of the new campaign.
The likes of Archie Gray, Richarlison, Mathys Tel, Connor Gallagher, Jan Paul van Hecke, Antonin Kinsky and Andy Robertson could form the core of De Zerbi’s starting XI against Brentford this weekend.
However, those with fewer minutes remain in doubt. Micky van de Ven did not feature in pre-season games and could miss out against Brentford.
Maddison was involved only in the final game against Hoffenheim and might be named on the bench. While the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski and Destiny Udogie could miss out entirely.
